Has anyone encountered a mid 90's Merc 115 where the tilt and trim functions go up, but not down.
When we use the relief value manually motor goes down. When we use the up switch on the throttle lever. Trims up, then tilts up normal
We know the switch connection from the throttle lever back to the solenoid is good, as when we press the up button, the up solenoid clicks.
Is the little motor trim and the big motor tilt? No way both motors die at exact same time. So I think must be solenoid or wire from solenoid to motors below.
