Title: "The best-laid plans of mice and men go oft awry"

Well the lady that was to pick up the Larson yesterday called me at 8 O'clock yesterday morning to tell me she was sick and couldn't make it. Today she sent an email to tell me she had changed her mind.
So I still have it. with a 7 1/2 horse motor.

Well, back to work on the Merc. I tried to get the lower unit on and it wouldn't go.

The exhaust tube on the long mid is a different size than the shorty.

Tear it all apart again. Back to the welder.

Well I found something out, and I'm glad I pulled this thing all apart. The shorty mid I bought was off a 85 hp 4 cyl, but I was told it was the same as the 150. The 150 is on the left. Guess they're not quite the same.

Got it all welded up and painted (first coat) I can start putting it back together again.

I wish you would have left it the way it was when it left here Jerry, and by Now, I'll bet you wish you would have too.

Not if it works. Although I planned on spending a couple Grand on the motor when I started, I'll be over three by the time it's done.

 I quess I feel a little guilty,  to see you having to put so much time and money into that baby,  I figured you'd have it in the water having fun with out having to do so much work, but  it's your boat, you got the privlege of doing anything you want with it.
