1969 carlson gt- need infomation about these boats

I just got a  16' 1969 carlson gt with a 140hp merc outboard.I am trying to find information about it. If anyone can help that would be great.

1971 would have been the first year for that model, if this is what you have.
Titles and Regs. are not a good source of info on year and model.
Not sure where G/C put them but look under dash and splashwell for tags with model/serial number.

If motor is in good shape with tilt & trim and the right prop it should over 50 mph.
Are there any soft spots in floor ?
Is transom solid ?
Cool boat and looks to be restored.
What info do you want ?

Im trying to find specs on the boat or reviews,how good they are,what it is valued at ect.

If motor runs well and boat is solid you got a good price at $1500.

About how fast did it go ?

That is an interesting boat. Looks to have the same lines as the CV16s that came out in 72 but without a windshield.

The trim works,has a stainless prop dont know the pitch.Have not had it in the water yet,but it runs great.Tuned it up today.Will register it this week and take it out next weekend.Also have slips for a rebuild that was done on the motor.Trailer came with it but I need to paint it and rewire the lights.
