Throw that thing on a scale. I'd be curious to see if that's without the body too.

Late 70's early 80's seem to be the worst for vacuum lines and smog. Especially if it had a carb. Here is my 87 corolla with a carb before and after "desmogging"! This thing was about the worst that I have seen for vacuum lines.

Let's hope not Joe. But Big Brother is watching.

Ya Jas the Toyotas of that era had what seemed like miles of vac lines, and the assorted 'anti-smog devices' they were connected to. I had a '80 Corrola SR5. 1600CC motor I bleve. Though mine was rear wheel drive? Anyway, after desmogging it was alotta fun. Had the slickest shifting 5 spd tranny, seriously you could shift gears with yer pinky.

Sadly that car overshot a corner late one night. Impact of the left front tire/wheel against the high curb broke the reaction rod & the suspension collapsed. Rig rolled 1 1/2 times. Wasn't wearing a seatbelt & was nearly ejected. Broke every window in the car when it landed on it's roof. But I digress ...

That sounds like a rough ride Doug! You're like a cat with 9 lives! LOL!

I should say for the recored that the de-smogged corolla in the picture above is for a demolition derby so is exempt!

I think you're right, and thats what George said, just the cab and chasis is the way it went to Champion, and the sticker says 7900 gvw,  George said it probably weighs about 6500, I'll go weigh this thing soon, but I can tell you this ... I done a complete brake job on it today, with master cyl, calipers, wheel cyl's and all, I'll bet the rear brake drums weigh 40lb each and another 40 for the tires, those suckers are Heavy, but we got brakes for sure, for a Long time.
