Since it was a beautiful day I took the old V172 out on the St. Croix today. Somehow managed to blow up the 150........ had to get towed back in from the first no wake zone south of 94. Looks like the ol 95 will be going back on.

I had make up a 2012 hard luck trophy with this inscription for Jason Smith as follows:

The mighty Merc 150 had just begun its life
Behind the green and white and was cutting the water like a knife
The water was very cold those days
Dodging in and out the St. Croix Bays
Hardly a boat in sight
As it put up a mighty fight
To reach the speed of forty five
And then it took a sudden dive
Rest in peace mighty 150 Merc
At last, for you, there is no more work
