and the BOATS!... the site of the 42 Glastron flotilla

42 boats. That's awesome! Gotta be a new record. Is that the 'official' number? (Not that I doubt your counting skills Mark ...)

Way to go guys. Looks like a blast!

Thanks Brian and Lisa and all involved. I had a GREAT time meeting everyone and seeing all the great boats. I will be back next year. Thanks to Vance for bringing me to the hardware store to get some parts to fix my trim hose, that rubbed a hole in it on the way down. It was great putting screen names to faces and boats.

Thank you to all of you for the nice comments about our job with the event!  Lisa and I were extremely blessed by all of you!

In the immortal words of Jason...  "I'll keep doing this as long as I can drive a boat!"

Let me just get it out there now...

The 4th Annual (International) Glastron Classic Event will be held on the 19th, 20th, and 21st of August, 2011.  Our location will be the Island Campground and Marina.

Mark your calendar now!

Also...  We will be opening the campground for the Glastron Classic on Thursday at 1pm.  If you are interested in joining us early, please let me know when we open registration.  The official meet will begin on Friday evening at 7pm, but those of you traveling from around the country seem to enjoy the extra time to get in and set up.

Yeeehaaww... 47 total that's great.

Ya Doug, I thought I heard 42 for the parade of boats alone, but not sure... no matter how you slice it, that's lots of Glastrons.

Had a great time for the short time I got to be there, a wonderful thanks to Brian and Lisa for all the hard work. I told the kids the next one who plans something during the Glastron meet gets dis-owned. I am commited to showing up next year with at least 4 boats and the whole family.

LMAO at that Tom.

Thanks to Brian & Lisa as well as others that put soo much work into the event to make it what it was. I was truly amazed at how well everything was organized and planned out. I suspect I am not alone on that. My only regret was that the short evening and day I spent at it was not enough.

I'm not much of a picture taker so thanks to everyone who took and posted all the great shots of the event. Almost as fun as being there again! Good seeing old faces again and meeting new ones. What a great group of people! 8)

AHHHHH! I am feeling presure already! I must get the 175 done or I should say, water ready by then. It only takes money. I have the ambition.  ;)

Glad you made it there Scott and seeing that CV-19 in person was great too.

Well, my wife's always saying that I never "plan" anything, I usually just go with the flow Ross.    ;D  THIS is worth making an exception, I can't see it happening without meticulous planning and a little "scheming" on my part.  Vacation request approved, BTW!  (Sure got a strange look from my boss, LOL)  The first check mark on a list of many.

What was done to get it to fire up?  Did they pull the distributer or ??? Last I heard it was only firing on one cylinder.

  I can't believe I just found this thread ,, Duh !
I will Never forget the look on Steve's face when that Beast fired up, there were a few doughtful eye's watching I think, but, that beast has been sleeping for a Long time, was a little stiff, it just needed a few more volts (24) to spin it back to life, to smell it's breath, and it smelled alot like Berrymans B-12 ... LOL
I think it will be fine now, but you All shoulda seen the look on Steve's face ... Priceless !
