Oh man, it was awful, was showing the boat lastnight, and everything that could go wrong did. It all happened at once. Guy was super interested to buy the boat, so first things first, I figured let me go out and get it ready to start and put the muffs on it and all.. First ding, the battery is dead... Crap, go grab the charger, see if I can't get some life back into it. After charging for a bit I want to see if I can get the trim down... Nope the trim is spinning like it has air stuck in it. (it actually did this 2 seasons ago, brought it into the shop that did the stator, and they said it must have had air in it because it was working again without doing anything, so I know I can get that going) Crap.... Ok ok, I'll try running it as it sits, start to prime the bulb, line squirts gas... What the hell, go look at it, my fault here, the line is so old its hard as a rock and cracking, damn! Cut the line put back in enough to get fuel flowing, try to start, battery and charger not pushing enough amps to crank fast enough to wake the ol girl from her beauty rest...
Just crap, it never rains it pours... So now I gotta get all this stuff fixed and work on the boat to sell it... I'm starting to kick myself in the ass for not just trading it in... I'm thinking I'll start taking offers of anything over $1k just so I don't have to deal with it anymore.... I figure if I get at least $1k+, thats what I would have gotten with trade in and tax off of the new buy... I'm just tired of dealing with the sale, and honestly I haven't even had to deal with it that much, but I'm throwing in the towel...
If no one wants it in its current state as it sits for that price, I'll have to fix and repost again...
I've tossed it up on craigslist for $1200
