What have I done! Love the 23s ,is it going to be worth the labor of love or am I crazy. I got it for 500$ I have motor and out drive, but it's missing lots and needs stringer and floor. What have I done

CV-23 are a big project. Here is a link to my thread I did a complete restore on one. I love it now that its done. I would also consider going to the forward windshield. It gives you more room I think. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

I see it's at RSI U work there?
I just surveyed a boat that was in the shop there a couple weeks ago.

Looks like you go this one: http://forum.cgoamn.com/index.php?topic=7817.0 (http://forum.cgoamn.com/index.php?topic=7817.0)
Did you get the trailer too?
The CV23 is an awesome boat. Are you going to make any money restoring it? No. Do you want to make a custom one of a kind CV23? Do you like working on old boats? If you answered yes to the last to questions then go for it!

Yes I do ,i run the body shop. No visions of making money it will be a labor of love

Thanks Bill for saving another one.
It will be a big project but worth it in the end.

Glad to see another Glastron avoid the landfill. Shawn's 23 thread would be a good read as your just starting the resto.

They are beautiful looking boats, definitely a big project but be well worth it in the end, something you can be proud of. Shawns thread is a very good build and great thread to read!
I am working on a 23 myself, had to do stringers and transom as well. Been a year into it and still lots to do!

Congratulations Bill!
The project will seem less of a challenge once you get all the bad cleaned out.
