Horn installation
« on: February 16, 2013, 02:56:35 PM »
I am planning on installing this horn in our GT-150, just wanted to get opinions as to if this location is ok ?
after installing my gas vent above the rub rail, then seeing the conversation between Ross and Rich about where it should be...
just want to check with those "in the know"

thanks

Mine (CV16) is mounted under deck to the deck support board.
You can just see the corner of it on the upper right corner ...

I thought I had a picture, but I couldn't find it. I got an air horn at Auto Zone and mounted it under the rear deck. I put my button on the center council, but you can put it anyplace. plenty loud enough.

I put mine under the port side of the dash too Joe, no grill.  It's plenty loud, no worries!

I recently mounted mine under the deck of the V175 like Mark did. The ones on the outside are now for looks.
