a Tacklebox.  😂

Although I do not fish out of this classic I couldn’t resist the nostalgic orange for a replacement to my real tackle box.  😀

Something to add to your collection ..

1958 weeres pedal/paddle boat - $2,500 (lino lakes)
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/boa/d/circle-pines-1958-weeres-pedal-paddle/7259873158.html

I restored this over the winter but now I don't have time to enjoy it. I had it out once on fathers day and it works just fine. classic beauty from Como Lake. I also built the trailer and registered the boat and trailer.

Gregg
Yes I saw that one for sale.  I have the slightly smaller and slightly newer version with the aluminum toons.  The Como ones are cool pieces of history but I’ll just keep what I have.  For those unfamiliar my last name is Weeres and my much older (deceased) distant cousin ran a blacksmith shop in Richmond MN and is credited with inventing the pontoon (1951).  He sold the idea a few years after manufacturing some pontoons and if he made some money off of it he hid it well because we both fished with cane poles off the bridge near Richmond.

I restored a 1974 Weeres a few years ago.  Last year production of the original aluminum chain link fence.  It was a fun project.  You can see the Weeres paddleboat behind the pontoon.

It is fun to add a few vintage things here and there; not a lot of money involved, just time and creativity.
