Hands down. Pulling staples is the worst part of the job.

Have all vinyl disassembled to use for patterns on new vinyl.
I have more room in basement to roll vinyl out and draw patterns.
He'll bring cut vinyl home to sew ...
So yes he makes "House Calls" ...

I found one piece of the original vinyl under the splash well trim piece.
It's plain vinyl, not pleated like all earlier CV's.

Any job opening for staple pullers at your company Doug ?
We have a special tool for pulling staples. Costs about $50 bucks. Deducted from your pay ...

Biggest problem with staples is folks almost always use too many of em.

It's really not necessary to have a gazillion staples butted right up next to each other?

Got all vinyl cut, except the seat bottoms.
Once seat backs are done, we can line up the pleats for bottoms with pleats for backs.

Wasn't as easy as I thought it would be ...
Vinyl was stretched from button holes in seat backs and hard to keep pleats straight from one side of seat to other side.
We had to make some guesses about how and where pleats should be  ...

Seats patterns we had to work with were patterns from originals with out pleats ...

I think that looks great. It's something I've had on my way back burner since I redid my floor and transom.

" Looks pretty darn good to me Gregg. "

It has creases and puckers, was hoping I wouldn't get one or the other but some how I got both ... AAARRRGGGHHH ...
Paul will know how to fix it ...

Paul's got one seat done and will finish the other tonight.
We'll test fit tomorrow afternoon.
Then cut and assemble splash well pad and curtain.

We held off on cutting other stuff because the seat backs were stretched from buttons and hard to get a pattern, so if there bad we have extra vinyl to redo them, and I can order more for pad and curtain.

Keep your fingers crossed guys ...
