Fast boats, and great narration by Chris Cornell, but you want to impress me, try running those boats on the St Croix during a typical Saturday summer afternoon with all the big boats tossing out 6-8 foot rollers.  Probably the reason they run them this time of year?

Yes, the 20' Allisons and Hydrostreams cannot take the high waves. There are boats in the 24' to 26' range with 23 or 24 degree dead rise hulls that can take the bigger waves, such as Progression 24, Contender, Tuff, Checkmate, Nordic, and Hustler.

The fast boys run all summer on the Mississippi near Champlin in sheltered water with little traffic.
