David, It was nice talking boats with you yesterday! Do you have the 1987 catalog also?

I got the 1986 catalog from the national Classic Glastron Owners Association webpage.  1986 is the last year they show.

Thanks Gregg!

I missed having a depth finder in this boat right from the start, especially when trying out new lakes up here. I ended up installing a Lowrance LST-3800 W/ temperature gauge. I used a stern pad to fasten the the transducer. So the only hole I drilled in the boat was for the gauge. The gauge is only 2-1/2" OD so pretty small but works great.

Great looking boat! I bought my '72 Swinger V-176 from a guy west of Walker, MN and the first lake I used it on was at my buddy's cabin on Leavitt lake, right by Outing! Roosevelt is a very fun lake too! As far as prop, I am no expert but I think I would leave well enough alone and be content with 55mph at 6k rpm.

When I see a classic Glastron on the lake, I like to talk to the owner to hear their story. I will keep a look out for your boat on Roosevelt.
I purchased a new prop already. I wanted a spare anyways and thought that a 23 pitch would help the gas mileage a bit for cruising around 25 - 30 mph.
