Kip, all, brought the MC home today. The windshield looked pretty good. They backed something into my trailer though, not real bad, just pushed the fender in the front about an inch from the tire. They didn't even notice it, or someone didn't want to fess up. They hammered it back out and slapped some paint on it that was running before I could even pull it off the lot. I wiped it off, and told them don't worry about it... I'll paint it myself when I get home. Took it to a nearby lake to try it out (wanted to know if all the components/gauges still work in dash, since they had to replace it... scratches from the glass). Other than recalibrating the perfect pass speed control, everything appears to be in order.
One question though....
With the boat in the water, the window was ever so slightly binding at the top (i.e. have to pull outward on center window door to get it to close all the way). Wasn't doing this on the trailer... result of the hull flexing. THAT OK? or will this be an issue down the road? I'm worried to let them touch it again... might end up worse. I say keep an eye on it and if it get's worse, address it then. The work they did should be warranted for atleast a year.
