UPDATE
« on: October 31, 2010, 10:52:50 AM »
After the 2010 season of dealing with a performance problem with my 'Tower Of No Power' Supreme Marine finally figured it out.
It was a leak in the crankcase seal.

Test on Minnetonka 10/30 resulted in the following;
21P Stainless / 5400 RPM / 48 MPH - Now I can start playing with props  ;D

My recommendation to anyone having performance issues is to spray a little fogging oil on the seams
before spending alot of money on carb. & elec repairs.

Jim, I am so glad your problem is finally solved before winter time. Puts the mind at ease preparing for spring.

Glad to hear you got it figured out Jim! I know how you feel. I had an entire year of trying to figure out a stalling problem in the CV16SS. Hopefully next year will be PROBLEM FREE!

48mph sounds really good!

Jim:
Congrats on getting to the bottom of that issue. And Wow! on the water 10/30 is pretty impressive.

Andy

I was the ONLY one that wanted to go - 50 degrees / partly sunny / 15 MPH north wind.

Ran about 8 gal gas thru her in about 2 1/2 hours.
