Check this out !! Was in one of my customers garage and spotted this old hand driven motor in a corner. Even came with a parts list. I couldn’t resist and had to buy it. It’s called a man-u-troll out of Jacksonville Florida and is dated 2/15/64. pump the handle up and down and the prop spins one way. To go backwards turn it around flip the handle over and pump away. I thought it would be better than having a paddle in the boat for emergencies.... though I will probably keep the paddle in the boat also.

Before anyone else asks, I want to know the top speed on GPS, maybe some prop modifications for better performance?. Actually kinda cool, used for small boats instead of oars I suspect?

cool!

Sounds like fun.. I’ll hold the gps,you pump.. :) Dave, you think you can polish the prop for me? :D

That's pretty cool !
Do you have a small aluminum boat to try it on ?
Maybe make a jack plate to lift it and do some cupping on prop.

I can honestly say, I have never seen one of those before. Very unusual.
