Good by old friend, hello new.
« on: May 22, 2012, 12:27:35 AM »
Was tough to do, but sold Hotwired today.  Is going to a good home.  I am sure we will see the new owner here before too long passes.

New owner James has 2 young kids there were as excited as he is to have it.  He seems to love the old boat as much as I did and will likely do it justice and refurbish and repair.  Hotwired is going to a owner I crossed paths with a couple years ago while gassing up Miss Mayberry at the gas station near the house. He and I talked over the transom of the Saberflite for a while and I sent him pictures of Hotwired.  He said when he saw the add on CL he had to have it.  Met me today and made it his own.  He lives close by.  I hope to stay in touch.
