A loss for one of our legends!
« on: June 29, 2012, 07:30:58 PM »
First I would like to say hello to all of the Glastron members out there. Second I would like to share some sad information that just passed across my table and that is our friend and legend of the Glastron  Carlson boats Mr. Art Carlson has just suffered a great loss with the passing of his beloved wife Barbara.
Art is taking this loss pretty hard so he is currently staying with his youngest son John, and anyone wanting to show any condolences send them to

I'm sorry to hear that...I know my Mom lost her husband (my Dad) and its been a really devastating loss for her.  My thoughts and prayers to him and his family.

What a suprise, I talked to Barbara and Art on the speaker phone early yesterday after noon, and with John shortly after that, planning a meet at Andy's place in September / Octoer ...  what a suprise !  No one expected this, she didn't have any health issues that anyone was aware of, so sad.

I know Art does not look at our forum but my deepest condolences to him and his family.  I had little contact with He and Barbara but that little contact was always very pleasant.  She goes on ahead with many of those we have held so dear to our hearts.  She is in fine company there in the forever after, unfortunately for us.
