Hi Everyone,
I am a new member to the club! I just purchased a 1958 fireflite and and it needs a little TLC. The boat came with a unique windshield that is fairly flimsy and not original(3 pieces). Where is the best place to source a windshield and frame, UPD has 1959 winsldshields but I am not sure if it would fit on a 1958. Where could someone find a frame? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Mike

Would the dimensions that UPD gives on there web site for the 1959 Fireflite come close to what you need ?
Glastron 1959 15ft Fireflite = 60 L x 17 W x 16 1/2 H
It looks from brochures and measurements to be the same boat(1958 & 1959), but no detailed pictures of deck shape.
You could do a Google search for "Aluminum extrusions" and find something to make the frame out of.
Hard to see in your picture, but do you have corner pieces ? The bottom ends, little triangles.
You could also try to make your own, with some plexy.

You can find the white bottom gasket on eBay or other boat supply shops.

1959 Glastron Fireflite
I believe the Fireflite and Surfflite were same boat with different rear seating arrangements.

Windshield looks like a "Taylor Made" I have same on my 56 Dunphy. "Taylor Made" marine is still making windshields, but that style is not in the catalog. Might be be worth a call. Phone: 1-800-628-5188
