Project boat
« on: June 09, 2019, 08:27:44 AM »
I recently picked up a 77 162 Futura that I have no interest in restoring.
No motor or trailer.
Hull is in pretty good condition but as usual, it needs a floor, stringers and transom.
It appears that most of the interior is there. Some of the wood components would need to be rebuilt but that upholstery is not bad.
I will not part it out.
Message me if interested and I am sure we can work something out.

Could make a decent project for someone.  I wonder if anyone has ever restored one and put on different windshields?  Overall lines are good, but the stick winshields just look like billboards, maybe some cut down CVZ or maybe even a modified CVX windshield would improve the look.  Good luck with your sale.

exact boat came with a 76' merc 85' hp when new. found mine eBay.  i was after the engine towed it home 300 (from NH.) miles did the transom, floor. the engine i have on a stand just too nice to use in salt water. it's a job to do it right (lifting the deck) but that boat may be worth the effort .NO CRACK OR HOLES IN THE HULL SOMEBODY SAVE IT
