Those Nintendo robots are worth quite a bit to collectors.

I loved duke nukem.

But I also loved the Mega man games. All I did for a summer was play Mega Man all day everyday.

I played Nintendo when I was a kid. Game Genie made things interesting! When Super Nintendo came out I decided the controller had too many buttons and gave up on video games after that. Never touched a PlayStation, Xbox, or anything else.

Same here Jason. We just bought Evan the old Ninentdo and it came loaded with about 50 games. He thought me and Jess were the greatest gamers ever because we knew where all the secrets in the Mario Bros games were.
I think this has become an addiction.

Setchel-Carlson B&W TV/Phonograph combo.  Still works too! Was in my Grandmother's house since new, I got it after she passed away.

Back when a console tv was an majestic piece of furniture in the "modern" family or living room.  Back then most handymen would swap out tubes, check them at Ace hardware, and have it back running.

Yep, its a very nice cabinet.  I've been told that its bad for it to use it as the caps are likely in bad shape, so I don't plug it in or turn it on anymore.

You could shotgun the electrolytics, but is it worth the effort?  Maybe modernize the internals with a modern flat screen?   I've seen some converted to aquariums that came out nicely.

Yeah, it's going to stay as is...most I would ever do is maybe fit a 4:3 flatscreen TV behind the glass where the tube is, but that'd be only if it could be made to look amazing, and not some cheap retrofit.

Otherwise, it'll be a family heirloom.

Gas went down a little more today....   on Zelda.. how many of you made it through part 2?  Took me probably 5 months to get through the first part and I’ve only got a little way in part 2 !  And that was 20 years ago... my boy can do it in an afternoon now and he’s how I got through the first part. only took me about a week with his help this time.. :)

Website for the lowest gas prices in Minnesota

http://www.twincitiesgasprices.com/

https://www.gasbuddy.com/GasPrices/Minnesota

What was really expensive in past years was buying 15 gallons of nonethanol for the boat and 15 gallons for the car.  Nonethanol back then was about $3.85.

Gas prices by state:
