Post by: OleRed on January 31, 2011, 10:46:57 PM: You guy's are great .. been a good day, last three days actually, celebrated Sat nite cause we got a good lake test on Burnin Daylight, got a free steak last night cause it was suposed to be bad weather today, got to celebrate today cause it wasn't that bad a day after all. I got everything done to prepare for the weather coming in, and it looks like it's startin, the generator oil changed, fired up like a little champ, gas'd it up, gas'd up the truck, got it plugged in, new tires and 300 pounds if sand in the bed, filled the propane bottles, faucets dripping, food in the refrigerator, Reds Gold is double wrapped and tucked in, got Ice Melt, kitty litter and the snow shovel standing by the garage door ... so Let-er-Rip Tater Chip.

Page out of Memory, I'm about ready to give it a snow wedgie. It did finally decide to give one up. We have had almost 12 inches, they say, I don't know how they can call it cause all the flakes are traveling 212 mph sideways, sustained 45 /47 mph winds gusts to 60, at 6:00 news saying winds sustainied 50 mph, I know you guy's up there are used to this stuff, but we Okies Aint ... it's a Brrrrrr thing. -1 degree tonight, calling for _5 or so tomorrow nite, high tomorrow 14, the coldest spell in 22 years.

Arent computers fun? My cd burner seems to have taken a dump while burning a few. I've hardly ever used the thing.
