Title: Inventory reduction sale
Post by: TV27 on November 29, 2011, 08:55:24 AM
Ok here goes the list, I do not have pictures at this time but I will try to get some and post them as I can. The CV19ss is in great shape and most of you have seen it in person at the meets and there are pictures here on the forum. I put a new trailer under it the year and had the carburator overhauled last year. It is powered by a 455 olds that was " warmed up" by the previous owner, right now it has the stock exhaust manifolds on it but I do have a nice set of Hardin aluminum manifolds to go with it. I will sell it to someone in the club for $5000. or advertise it next spring for $6500.

The CV16ss is also pictured here on the board and is equipped with a 140 mercruiser, I did replace the Distributor with a newer marine electronic model and overhauled the carburator, the boat needs new carpet and the trailer could use new paint. For someone in the club I will sell it for $2000.

The CVX17 is not going anywhere until next year so if someone is really interested let me know otherwise it will be my next summer project.

I still have the 1991 Dodge Stealth with the non-turbo R/T engine and a 5-speed, it has shaved doors handles and a body kit, my son dented the from bumper a couple years ago so I parked the car and bought a complete body kit but have never installed it. $2000.

I don't think that I have seen your cv19ss. Please post a picture.

Thanks scotty007

There are some photos in the General discussion area but I will try to get photos of anything else that interests anyone. Someone also asked about the 1969 Camaro and I am not sure I want to sell that one just yet, maybe after all the other stuff is gone I will consider it.

All very reasonably priced Tom, if you ask me. As much as I'd love to have the CV19, its really not doable for me at this time but the CV16 is interesting. I could PM you for more info (if there is any) but for the benefit of all, I'll ask here.
How long have you had it....wondering about the history a bit. Useage, hours etc.
Original interior? Good floor I assume since you didnt mention any issues. Any missing parts?
I did see it at the 2010 meet but didnt look too close. I know you let Chris use it.
Is the 140 a ford or GM? I could have sworn it had an OMC outdrive?
So what is the big difference between a CV and a CVSS? I believe the dash was different from what I saw when Gregg was looking? No ski locker in the CV? I suppose I could look at the brochures.  :P

We have had this one for about 5 years, the only thing it needs is new carpet and nothing is missing. The upholstery is original and not perfect but very useable. it has the gm 4cyl and a mercruiser outdrive. I think I have 3 props for this one, two aluminum and one stainless. The difference between the CV and the CVss is an inboard vs. an outboard. As for hours I really don't remember but I could try to look today when I stop by the storage shed. I replaced the distributor with a new electronic marine unit to eliminate the points and it makes a huge difference in the way it runs, we have used this boat mostly at our lake house but in recent years we see the kids less and less so for the most part it just sits on the lift all summer or stays in storage and never even comes out. It is in storage now and can stay there if who ever buys it doesn't want to pick it up right away, but it is accessable to view or even take out at this point but I do not plow the storage lot so if we get alot of snow it is harder to get out. We bought the boat from an older couple in St. Cloud MN who I believe were the original owners they used it at their lake house for many years but only had 1 daughter and she was not interested in boats or lakes so they sold the house but kept the boat for another 10 years before we bought it, the used t so little that they decided to sell it rather than store it, kind of the same story with me.

Thanks for the info. For some reason I thought there was an "SS" and non "SS" version of the I/O

You might want to email him.
Click on his user name and should be in his profile ...
Sounds like there might be a gold CV16 for sale also ...
