Well, I can't believe I'm thinking this... but I have my eye on a CV23 project and I would have to sell this to be able to do it. There is a link to my "build thread" in my signature.
Specs:
Motor/drive: 1975 Mercruiser 188 (Ford 302 w/ 351 heads)
Upgraded intake manifold to a factory aluminum Ford dual plane intake (I cant remember the exact one but it was known for having good low end power)
Holley 600cfm marine carb
Nicson all Aluminum Water Jacketed exhaust manifolds with through hull exhaust
Mercruiser 888 Lower unit has recently been re-sealed
New Marine 90amp alternator
Motor runs and sounds great. It does restart hard if you shut the motor down after working it hard, but if you let it idle for a bit then shut it down it will fire up good. It also starts cold great.
13.5 ish hours showing on the new gauges put in when I rebuilt it. Has a tach (with digital hr meter), speed, oil press, water temp, voltage, fuel level, and Faria depth gauge on the dash.
Comes with three props
17 pitch 15"diameter Stainless Michigan Wheel (untested, needs a different thrust washer to fit right)
19 pitch Hustler aluminum (48 mph gps @4150 rpm)
21 pitch 15.25 Diameter Stainless Michigan Wheel (45 mph @ 4000rpm, but pulls like a freight train)

1978 CVX16ss
Painted with Interlux Brightside boat paint. It has Teflon in it so the boat rarely needs rubbed clean when you pull it out of murky water. It is a single stage paint that can easily be repaired. I have some left over that I will give with the boat.
New floor and stringer fiberlgassed in. The floor is nice and solid because I poured marine grade closed cell expanding foam under it and fiberglassed over the holes. All fiberglassing I did was sealed with Interlux paint. Floor was covered with marine carpet and glued with marine glue.
New interior stitching has over two years remaining on the warranty from Anderson Upholstery where it was done.
It rides very smooth for a 16ft boat. It is also very stable at max speeds. It planes easy and hits 48mph gps easy and I have hit 55mph with it before. My only gripe with the handling is that it does not have power steering.
Trailer is original 1978 EZload it is currently registered as home built, but I have the original title as well... (old owner signed the title with married name and it was titled under maiden name, courthouse wouldn't change it unless I got a copy of the marriage license.) I put new rollers, winch, and plastic fenders on it (still strong enough to stand on). It has also been wire brushed, primed, and painted Ford Blue with an industrial enamel paint. 14" Aluminum wheels; one tire is a new trailer tire, the other is a 3 year old trailer tire with good tread. Spare tire is a steel wheel with a good car tire on it.

Ya, I lowered the front seats after the Lake Rathbun meet, so the windshield is fully functional at blocking the wind. It comes up on plane really fast too, so it didn't really affect visability that much either. It will plane out at about 20 mph.
