Title: Hello from Florida new cvx16 owner

purchased a glastron Carlson cvx 16 outboard here in florida about a month ago and started the resto so far I've been very fortunate and the boat needed no wood repair. Just gel coat, carpet and upholstery with some motor work as well. it has a 1980 evinrude v4 140. hope to have it on the water soon and more pics to come! Thanks for having me!

Glad your here WesMann, you will find info on every part of doing your resto here.   It takes a while to get a handle on all the info in here, so just ask and someone here will point you to the answer or a thread with details, pictures, and step by step DYI.

    There are a few folks on here from Florida, post some pics of your treasure and maybe a line or two about you in the introductions thread, its always nice to know where folks are from.

Thanks guys! already delving into the plethora of info on here thanks for having me. will post pics soon all I have is a before pic right now its in getting new gel and clear hopefully have it done by the end of this month!
