Chris here. So first let me say wow!!! I love all the pics and action with the older models on here. I so badly wish I knew about this community a couple seasons ago when I sold my 88 (I know not a real classic) but still the best boat I ever had! life was just crazy and oh well :(

So is there any love around here for the new models at all? I just picked up a 17 GTSF 205 and so far very happy with it. The meetup in august sounds like a blast but I don't want to be "that guy" hahaha. So can we show up and drool all over the classics? or do I get tarred and feathered? As for now I am just going to keep lurking all around this forum like it or not! :-)

We are also sad you didn't find us earlier maybe you would still have the 88 along with the 205.

More than one boat pretty much flies around here, well it is almost encuraged.

Bring the 205 to the Red Wing meet in August you will not be that guy, probably be looking at CGOTD
By the end of the weekend.

Welcome, as Jeff said all boats are welcome, and hay, it still a Glastron! I guarantee you will have some of us looking at your boat while you are looking at ours.

Oh do you have any pictures of your 88 or your current boat? If so please share we love pictures!

I showed up with a BayL*ner my first year.  Bring the new boat!  No such thing as 'that guy' in this club.  And an '88 is definitely a classic.

Welcome to the forum Gravybird !

All boats are welcome at the Red Wing meet, so make plans to attend.
We also do some river trips / get together on St.Croix / Minn. river / Mississippi river / Tonka during the summer, You could do a day trip if your not to far away.

We would love to see pictures of your boats, if you have some ...

Wow. Thank you for the awesome welcome! I definitely have pictures of both lol. The 88 needed upholstery in a bad way, part of the reason I let her go, I didn't have the time and the kid that bought it father was an upholstery guy. I hope she got the TLC she deserved. I had her for 9 years and never left hanging out on the water once.

I live in Sauk Rapids so yes definitely to the day trips. Grays Bay (Tonka) is only 67 miles from my driveway. I can't wait to hit the rivers, but I'm very cautious to go without seasoned guidance, sounds like you guys got that covered :-)

Yes I absolutely love it:-) it was one of those things.... I didn't set out to buy new, but after Craigslist emailing on a few others and looking at the dealer (even considered other brands) This one called to me. Whispered sweet nothings in my ear while I slept and everything.
