The tachometer in our Bal Harbour quit working, came from the factory with a 3 inch aqua meter gauge. I didn’t see too much interesting on eBay, apparently the 3 inch gauges are not all that common, though I do see Sierra makes them. Was wondering if anybody has one laying in their box of stuff they be willing to part with. I have a whole pile of the 3 3/8 inch ones, but they won’t fit in the Dash without hacking it up, and it has a plastic dash that is in perfect condition so I am hesitant to try and fit the bigger gauge in there.

I was able to put a standard size tach in Phoenix's instrument panel when I put them in. it was a tight fit, but it went in okay and fills the hole perfectly.

I’m not sure what would be different about ours but the bezel on the 3 3/8 tach is bigger than the recess in the dash

I may have a spare tach for Phoenix laying around somewhere. You can have it Joe If I can find it.

I will take a look around at what I have. Give me a few days. It needs to be 3" OD? It is that the bezel diameter?

It needs to fit in a 3 inch hole, all of the Teleflex and feira gauges appear to be 3 3/8. Jim did find one that looks like it might work, no label on the switch so it will be trial and error

Found one on CL new for $40.00 that is 3", but it appears to be for OB only. Was thinking you needed it for GT, but then read through the thread. Its a Teleflex 57649P, maybe they make one similar for I/O?

I guess I should’ve updated the thread, Jim had one laying in his box of stuff, an old aqua meter that fit and work just fine.

No problem, just perusing the local CL this morning and stumbled upon this tach, with hour meter, sounds like a decent deal.

I did find that Sierra makes 3 inch tach and Speedo‘s in several different styles. If Jim hadn’t showed up with the one he had I was ready to head to Hennay’s and throw down the 80 bucks for a new one.
