We usually don't get anything exciting come by the shop but when I walked into the yard this morning this was sitting there waiting to have some work done. A 1972 Glastron V153 Futura. Apparently a restoration with a replacement windshield and upholstery but the gelcoat was all original and show-room shiny. This was a nice looking boat. I put new shift and throttle cables in it today.

The boat is Registered in Connecticut (CT), which leads me to wonder where Rich is at? Never met , so now I'm curious. Nice looking craft btw

I saw you posted, just never dawned on me that you were in Connecticut. Guess I never asked before.

Gotcha! One of the reasons that prevents me from making the trek out to the gatherings. That, and the constant summer boat work.

Had I been thinking, I could have checked your profile and known. Was not terribly far away when I picked up my Timi, Greenwood Lake NY. Doug from Florida made the meet, and John from NY has also in the past, we even had folks from Europe, but I can understand summer is your busy season. Maybe some year?
