Snow Birds
« on: October 05, 2010, 12:04:35 PM »
Anyone coming to the valley of the sun this winter from the Minneapolis area?  I have a couple boats that I would like to have them find there way to Mm.  I would like to leave one up there and have a friend who has a boat here that needs to be brought up too.

There has been discussion in my house about a possible trip down in the Avalanche...

Well that would sure be great!  Boat races are coming up in November again!  I bet the Avalanche would tow the 21 or the Saberflite real good!

Its a definite possibility.  It wouldn't be until Jan or Feb though...so whichever one would need to be winterized extremely well.

And there's a lot of salt between here and there!

I'll also have a nice newly rebuilt Mercruiser 305 I could haul down, exhaust manifolds, outdrive...   ;)

I'm saving my nickels!  Maybe by the time the "time" rolls around that will be a possibility.  Could go in either one of two boats!
