pearl harbor day

Not the appropriate forum but.... Let's not forget the service men that lost their lives some 60 years ago (63 I think) today.
We all enjoy our freedom to move about today because of the sacrifices these folks made for us.

If memory serves me correctly it was exactly 69 years ago.

Not entirely sure that we've gained any freedom since then but it's a warm fuzzy thought ...

No disrespect to those in the armed forces.

I Concur Andy, we owe a great deal to this generation of patriots.  So many made enormous sacrifice, put service before self interests, and did what was necessary to secure our freedom and liberty.

A little late but, right on! THAT war was more justified then what we are doing now IMO. My dad was in the navy on a carrier and he used to talk about his time serving ALOT. It was a huge deal to him and I can see why. Most serving are really just kids. What a life experience, good or bad.
