Is there any kind of recommendation or policy and/or central place for uploading the videos once we have them edited?

I see that Photobucket allows video uploads too - and I see that some are putting theirs on YouTube, although I'm not sure if those are all in the same place or under each person's separate account area (even though I've been in IT for over 30+ years, believe it or not, I've never used either of these services until now, always have just thrown them on my own webservers instead).

It looks like putting the photos in a single location is working out quite well - just wondered if there were any similar plans for the videos.

Thanks!   :)

Its a great idea.  I have looked at creating a dedicated YouTube channel for the club, but it doesn't seem to support that really well.

I think that as long as some common tags are added we would still be ok.  They're great free advertising for the clubs activities and hosting them on Photobucket wouldn't get nearly the same exposure.

Here are the tags I always put on my videos:  CGOAMN Classic Glastron Carlson Boat Red Wing Minnesota

I'll add CGOAIA Iowa Lake Rathbun to any of the videos from the Iowa meet, but that's what I do.

The other alternative is to have one of us upload them using the CGOAMN gmail login...but that involves shipping a lot of data around, which we could also look into using the cloud for that.

sorry it took so long, but here is the naming ceremony that Barb did on the docks for Amber and I, Josh, Shawn, and Dan. We are all very honored that she took the time out of her day of boating to preside over the ceremony!

To all my Glastron friends I would like to thank everyone for the great weekend that my father and my son had with the greatest people in the world.

It was great to meet new friends and put a face with a name. So to sum it up thanks again Brian and all the rest of the Glastron family.

I can't wait till next year.

Here's one of my favorites - Looking good Hot Carl! 8)

Ha thanks Kip! That was hours before the mysterious no-fuel scandal of 2012. Man was that annoying! Big thanks to Jim and his crew for the tow back to camp (Plan A), to Sean and the Bishops for the gas run, and all the guys (especially Josh!) who stopped to make sure everything was taken care of. I sincerely appreciate it!!

Big thanks to Brian for "hosting" or "doing everything" or whatever you wanna call it. And I'll just thank Jeff because...well, it's Jeff. He's a badass.

This meet gets better every year, and it's a huge testament to the people in the club. You hear it a lot, but it's very true: this is one special group of guys and gals. It was great to see everyone, and thanks again for all the rides, great food and good times. I can't wait until the 2013 meet and can only hope to see you guys sooner!

Just sorry I couldn't do more Alex! I haven't had time to start to diagnose what happened to me out there. Gregg and Brian were thinking the impeller, which quite honestly, I didn't know you needed to change!  ::)

Ah well, you learn a little each year right?

I couldn't agree with you more about the meet and the great group. Well done everyone for such a wonderful club!

I really did too.  It wasn't until you pointed it out that I realized there was a rope involved!

Who ended up with my extension cord?  It was powering the coffee pot as I was pulling out on Sunday.

Y'know ya could put an auto-pilot on that thing. But they only work when you have fuel ...

That first pic is badazz btw. 2nd ain't all that horrible really, when ya think about it. I would consider it an honor and priviledge to be towed by Jim Barrett & crew.

Good looking boat...nice trailer too.

No kidding ... that silver flake will blind you in the sun.  Gorgeous.  The boat sits low on that wide trailer ... just awesome.  I'd love a trailer like that.
