By the way, that boat is incredible! What is the history of that??

the boat was built not far from me in 48/49 to compete in unlimited hydroplane.  its powered with a tweaked 3000hp rolls royce griffon and competed in the harmsworth cup. It held the official speed record at 138mph, rumored to have run much faster than that with the bugs worked out, 200 is the number frequently referenced.  And this all happened in the early '50's.

search Miss Canada IV.  there is lots of info/pics of the boat.  very neat piece.

The good old days.  I did this for 30 years, that's called open wire.  It could light you up and make you want to jump off if it was raining and someones phone rang.

All those old trains reminds me of "the great crush collision" A good idea that wasn't thought out all the way.
