Not sure, didn't speak with him. In my search for ladders, I located his website and saw what he used. For a good price $25, it was worth a try.

I bought a handrail off e-bay from a CVX 16,  I don't know if it's the same seller but you might want to contact him. The boat is an OB. Here is the link.

I tried him few months ago. The ladder was the first to go prior.  I think the ladder like Andy has will be fine. The factory one s somewhat of a pain due to that plastic piece that most everybody breaks and submits to a bungee cord to hold the ladder up. The cost of those replacement parts are 4x what I paid for my ladder. It wo
