1979 GT150 rebuild
« on: May 19, 2017, 08:50:44 PM »
I decided, I should start a thread for my rebuild.  It's been a rather long project, I will try to go back and find photos from the beginning and add them here.  But I've been through three computers since I started.

I've made a lot of progress in the last few weeks.  I've gone through 2 gallons of resin since starting back on my boat.  I recently discovered that my neighbor across the street works for a large boat manufacturer located about 5 miles from my house.  He recently came through for me in a big way.  I just bought 5 gallons of resin, hardner, and putty they use for filling gaps and bedding stringers; he got it all for $60.  The last two gallons I ordered online was $65 plus shipping.  He also told me that I can go right to the factory office and buy it direct from his company.

On top of all that, he has offered to help me however he can.
