Looks about like what we had here in Nebraska  a week ago 18 miles to the north of me.

We have a number of lines out on the rail road due to flooding.   More rain expected later this week, but most of the ice and snow melt is gone.   Been helping out with flood damage efforts locally, hoping your flooding in MN/WI is minimal.     Going to be a long clean up, even if the river tames down, not sure how many ramps will re open.

The MN river in Savage is at 711.5 and all time crest is 719.4

The St Croix at Stillwater is predicted to go to 88.3 on Wed. Don't think that's the crest yet though. All time record in Stillwater is 94.1. Almost the whole St Croix is still iced over.

The river at Treasure Island is projected at 682.6 on Wed and all time record is 687.77 The record puts the entire lock and dam under water.

Treasure Island,  Stillwater and many other areas have already built or are building large temporary flood walls.

Luckily no rain in the forecast currently. Sill a lot of snow to melt up north though.

All the records have stood since April of 1965.
I think this has become an addiction.

Here is the Mississippi at St. Paul. It's crazy how fast it's gone up. I work in So St. Paul. If it wasn't for the dike the built after the 1965 flood my work would be under water right now. I walk on the flood wall everyday and have seen it make the 10' climb over the last week. Pretty amazing to see.

Shawn, Seeing all that ice still on the St. Croix is pretty scary. I worry about all the boats on jack stands in the marinas getting hit by the traveling ice once it lets go as many of these boats will be sitting in some water. Not to mention some docks and houses.

Almost all the marina are launching boats. Many have been breaking the ice with cranes and other stuff just so they could get them in. Others are just moving them to higher ground.
I think this has become an addiction.

SPRING WARMTH: Behold the mighty Mississippi River on this warm and windy spring day. This is the view from the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis.

This has been a tragic and historic flood issue this spring, forecast is not looking good for yet another year on the Mo.   A friend of the family is still missing their brother from the Spencer dam collapse.  Don't see the water retreating when the rains arrive.

The power of mother nature never ceases to amaze me.  From the snow that I had to fight this morning at North Platte, to this picture from the Butte Gazette.  What must a chunk of ice that big weigh?

Hudson boat ramp and 1st street totally under a good 2-3’ of water. Highest I’ve seen it in the 11 years we have lived in Hudson.

Any one want to set up their camp site early for the meet at TI Its all water front you can park the boat next to the tent. Plus free waterbed.
These are all from Treasure Island on 3/30/19 water is still supposed to go up another foot.
I think this has become an addiction.

You can park and launch from the same parking spot, how convenient.   Odd to see the ramp we usually walk down to the marina is now about level from the lot.    I suspect a bumper crop of skeeters this year!
