The river seemed low at the launch (kinda shallow) about 3' at the end of the dock. Lot of steep banks but the depth was good (10' or more most everywhere)

Think I will try the St. Croix tomorrow and launch at Hastings and go to the new bridge construction south of Stillwater and back. My son Paul likes boating and he has Monday's off. Joy is staying home to get ready for a class reunion.

Launched at St. Croix Bluffs, headed south, ran into Jeff Sue and company in Prescott.
Beached at the cove hung out with Shawn and Jess, and Jeff and Sue showed up. What's left of the cove was full, boats on the outside too. Sorry but I was having too much fun to take pictures, I'm sure someone did.
