You all set a time and place and I may be in.
Miles estimated?
Cannot spend a whole day out, but should get the old girl wet once this week.

There about 1 mile apart ...
In between the two launch sites is a marina with gas and oil, bring your own 2 cycle oil because gas dock wants $10 a pint !

Theres also a gas dock in St.Paul and Prescott but you would have to go through Hastings lock to get to Prescott.

Not sure on miles but I went through MORE then 12 gals on the last trip that was almost the same trip.

Could make the run down to Hastings and back to St.Paul for lunch by 1:00 to 2:00 ... Maybe ?
Did it a few weeks ago, think we were off the water by late afternoon.

Had a great time guys !
Water was a little rough today with alot of boat & barge traffic.
Laine got 52.7 mph gps and Jeff got 66.1 mph gps, I only got 38 mph, must have been the strong winds.
Had lunch at the boat bar in St.Paul.
Can't wait for the trip to T.I. next weekend !

Great trip a lot of (WOT) down to Hastings, back up to ST Paul, Lunch and more (WOT) back to the boat launch.  Unsure of the distance but about 16 gallons of gas with my (gas hog Johnson120hp).  Great trip I would recommend it to anyone.  Thanks for hosting, showing me a new area.

Nice pictures Gregg. Did anyone have trouble at the St. Paul Park boat launch? Gregg, you need another OMC prop. Gregg, was the water free of debris?

My trick was to get in the Minnesota river in wind like that.

The right side of the ramp (side we had trouble on) was fine.
The left side had a dip I fell in but no damage to trailer.

Lots of debris floating around, two big logs got hung up on our boats at the dock in St.Paul.

Lost out on three OMC props, for $10 each, by 10 mins.
I'm gonna get mine fixed this week.

The wind and waves were bad , but at least it was warm ...

Gregg had map links posted on page one.  He is friendly that way.  Even with the Google map in hand, I have to admit I found the town, but needed the cell phone and someone to meet me at the gas station to find the landing.  The best part is that club members are so helpful and willing to share their favorite areas to boat.  It was a great day on the water.
