Greetings everyone. It's been a while and I have been pretty busy.
Let's start with some pics. I am a CV23 fan but I have been looking for the classic 68-89 GT160 for five years. Finally found one in Nashville. I may have posted when I had it hauled back. Anyway, it's almost done. New transom, floor, road cover and all new interior. I found the perfect hoops for the bow cover. Works great.

The material is pretty heavy. I did not get that taught look I wanted. I may go back in with stretch fabric just for looks.

My friend made the covers and interiors. That's what took so long. Had it parked at his place for over 12 months. I think the interior looks better than new.

All dusty from sitting in the shop. I still have to add the new logo plates and shine up the paint. Our ice is just about gone so I'm going to splash soon. It will be the maiden voyage.

Now I want a green one.

Looks fantastic. What horsepower is the Johnson? I remember standing next to Howard Pipkorn watching a GT160 race by on Lake Johanna in Arden Hills back in the day.

The Johnson is a tuned up 100.HP I am trying to get a Tower of Power.
