I am thinking of boating around 9 to 10 AM on Saturday and am open as to where - Minnesota River, St. Croix, or Mississippi.

But maybe not ...

The current forecast for Saturday is okay until the afternoon. If we go early, we should be fine, but the forecast and conditions change. Which river? I am leaning toward the Mississippi, either from Ft. Snelling or St. Paul Park to the Hastings dam. The boat race at 10 AM on the other side of the dam should not entail a lot of boats going down stream and through the dam to watch them.

I choose Saturday because my son, Paul, workings on Sunday, he thinks. He will tell me for sure tonight.

Still can't believe I have only been out twice this year!

36 x 26. Should have room for maybe 1 or 2 fellow glastron member's boat this winter if they are looking for storage.

No heat, no electric (yet), no fancy pants stuff. Just a roof, walls, and a floor! Not sure about rent....we can talk about that.

Gregg, Saturday sounds great at St. Paul Park at 10 AM. We would not want to go further than the Hasting Dam since the boat races are just West of the dam. I'll bring three tanks of gas just in case. Looking forward to it. Only the second boating trip this year.

Anybody else is welcome, but let us know as we want to travel in a group. My cell is 612-363-3704.

Gregg, to watch the races, we should be on land. The currents below the dam are swift. And they may be restricting the boat traffic around the race course. There would be people we know there - Howard ipkorn, Jerry S, Allen, Andrew from the boat parts store in Wyoming.

Gregg, if you want to see the races, lets go by land and do the boat thing another day. Let me know.
