Minnesota River in the Summer and Winter
« on: February 26, 2012, 06:43:14 PM »
Walked the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge Bloomington Ferry Unit today in Bloomington. Quite a difference between traveling by boat in the summer and walking the dirt trails in the winter. There are miles of trails along the river for bikes and hikers. Are these wolf tracks?

The wolf population in mn is up(recently taken off the endangered species list), but more likely a dog...texas has left a few tracks in that area.

Same beach we stopped at on labor day 2011, this photo taken in 09.

This is the beach referenced above in 2011.

This again is the same "beach" in may 2010.

May 2010 again.

I apologize in advance for over sharing.

Over sharing? No such thing when they're pictures of our boats in the water!
