Well did not take as long as I thought it would to do a trailer swap.

Looks good.  Are you bringing that one to Rathbun?

I need me a new trailer .... but I just ordered new aluminum wheels for the one I've got ...

Yep that's the one, just hope I get the interior done in time. I still have to order new seats and put down new carpet. It was a $400 trailer off Craig's list I repainted. I figure I have around $750 total in it with the roller bunks, wheels and tires and paint and decals.

What kind of paint did you use on the trailer?

I'll be on the lookout (B.O.L.O.) for a used trailer for the GT.  I want something that is wide enough with the dipped keel so that my boat doesn't sit so high.  I pull it with a station wagon & don't enjoy backing so far into the water to get her floating off the bunks.

You did a nice job..looks great.

After you load it the first time you might need to mount a front roller under that front support, on steep ramps the bow might shoot under the toung.  I know this because I just installed one this weekend on my Shorelander, I purchased a new trailer a few years back and had this happen on a few ramps.  Hopefully it will work fine.

You have to be careful with a circular saw, don't want to go through the floor or have it get away from you, It's also harder to follow the curvature of the wood around the edge. When I pulled my floor I used a RotoZip with a cutting wheel to just cut through the fiberglass layer around the edge of the wood.
