Just registered.  3 days camping, 2 nights slip rental.  I plan to head out early Sunday morning, so I will take the Z out Saturday night.  Hope I got the reservations correct.  Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Sounds about right Mike. Arrive and launch Thursday two nights in the slip and take the boat out saturday night. I usually go for 3 nights of slip rental just in case I feel like one more run before leaving sunday morning.

This is a shout out to Tomas and Express Composites.  Not only are they generous in their support of CGOAMN, but also generous in providing expert advice for projects.  Monday Tomas hooked me up with everything I need to replace the wood floor in the CVX16 with a new lightweight rot proof honeycomb composite floor. Thank you Express Composites for the step by step advise that gives me the confidence to DIY.

Stupid question... So the lady and I are bringing the Murder van "conversion van" and intend to sleep in it.  Do we need to rent a campsite or need to get an rv spot, i was just assuming that we would park in trailer row and keep an eye on the vehicles.

Also I hear the slips are much larger than the cv and was wondering if they let us split them. that being said, does anyone want to sub rent their slip to a lil cv16ss? I know it would be cheaper to just buy a slip but saving room for the larger gt boats has me thinking.  And you never know... in the am, mine might just be conveniently tucked away under the dock!

Slips - Our club charge is 'per boat'...there's no sub rental or anything...technically speaking, even those that pay the 'day usage/launch fee' are not allowed to use the slips...they've only paid to launch their boats for the day...not slip them.  (I'm not enforcing that, and I know Bob and Margi don't mind...but those are the campground rules...not mine.)

As far as camping...if you're not in a designated RV spot (they're all reserved now), you'll need to pay the Camping fee for you and your guest.  We're charged per person.  So for the 2 of you its $33.75/night, (plus the $20/night slip fee if you want to slip your boat overnight).

If you're going to take it out of the water overnight, then, as a camper, there's no charge for using the ramp.

If it helps, I always camped in my Avalanche "Tent" and paid the camping fee.  Very similar to what you're doing.  No Shorty this year?

Late year we had a canopy for the "Welcome area" can't remember who's it was ...
Can we use it again this year ?
I have a large table we can use, and some chairs.

Any one remember who's it was ?

I love the term "canopy". It's such a great word. Did you know there's a lil town south of Gainesville named Micanopy? Pronounced: "Mick A No Pee".

Named after an Indian Chief. Bet he was an ornery one too, considering his urinary troubles ...

Anyway. We always refer to the place as My Canopy. The locals really hate that ...

But I digress.
