At last nights pelican party, the acapella singing group stood on the log and belted out some of the birds favorites.

Although waking up somewhere on the river on a morning like this would be just fantastic, other commitments put us at the lake today, this is not a bad place to enjoy a couple cups of coffee

Lake Owen, Drummond WI

Jason was that your first time on Lake Owen?  Weve been going up there every summer for 28 years!  Must have just missed you we were up over the weekend of the 14th! Love it up there, one of the clearest and best lakes in the state IMO!

Yes. First time. I've been on a lot of lakes between MN and WI. I absolutely love this lake. Will definitely be back. I put lake Owen at number 3 behind Lake Superior and then Burntside in Ely.

Good to know! I will have to add burntside to the list! We do get on superior every now and again, we have some property on Madeline island, I have always wanted a larger model to feel comfortable to take out to the apostle islands, maybe someday!

Great video Jason! Let me rephrase, as far as heading out to some of the further islands and doing some overnight camping, maybe I dont need a bigger boat, just a bigger gas tank! haha
