Name that boat....
« on: May 12, 2018, 09:22:16 PM »
Just picked up at an estate sale, actually really only interested in the Little Dude trailer for my 14' Crosby, but had to talk it all. lol.  I have no idea what it is, has outboard marine stern drive electric shift, chevy motor with dual carbs.  Would like to have idea of year and make of boat and drive system and if it may be used in any glastron applications.  Never had anything like this.  Guessing late mid sixties, no idea of make. Will share a few more photos, Dash is pretty cool.

Very cool Greg, sure does look like the power plant that is in this boat.  I am guessing would be just the 120 but dont know if the dual carbs somehow adds more horse power.

As I was reading your brochure page, it did make me remember that I read someplace that the v234 had a twin engine option, I have the 165 mercruiser in my 1970 Caribbean.  Maybe that was the drive system for that if twins.

Thanks to Gregg's input I did a little more seaching on youtube and found a glastron with the motor and drive, shifter is a little different, but exact same stearing wheel it looks like.  It was a 1967 Glastron V174 Aqualift video walk around video.  Will be posting all the omc thing in the classified if anyone needs something specific.  Will try to get rid of the hull as fun kids sandbox, a friend did that for his grand children just off his yard down by the beach with a classic fiberglass boat and they love it.
