Ok...I've called appliance stores large and small...any ideas on where I can get larger sheets of cardboard so I can start mocking up my interior?

What about cheap 1/8 plywood and a hot glue gun with gussets to hold it together.

How about your closest boat dealer? They should be uncrating new motors about now and those are big peices of cardboard, if you happen to be in Minneapolis you are welcome to stop by and get some. Our rigger uncrated a 250 today......lots of cardboard!

That's a good suggestion, I'm gonna check Hobby Lobby tomorrow, and if I have to, I'll just use tagboard and double them up for strength.

(If I were in the TC's...I'd be on my way over...alas...I'm in Des Moines.)

Thanks Retro!

That's a good idea, but I want to be able to just sketch & cut.  Then I'll transfer the designs to something more permanent, like cheap paneling 1/8 plywood so I can test position the new control lever and the seat height, etc.

I used cardboard from large boxes gotten from U-haul when I made up templates for my floor.

Check any shipping company like The UPS store or a box / shipping supplies supplier. You can get a 4 x 8 sheet of cardboard at most of those places or they can at least tell you where to find it. I used to get them years ago at a former job to make custom size boxes.

How much and how big and how do you want it to get to you?

I work for a test lab and we get patio doors shipped in it all the time.  If you can figure out a good way to get it to you I'll be glad to get all you need.

I just called around this morning and was able to locate some large sheets of cardboard at my local UPS Store, but thanks a lot!

That'd have been perfect, but it doesn't look like I'll be in the TC's for a while, and I've got to get moving!
