Were sorry for the mix up, I think a few people even with the group couldn't find the beach we were at.
We are working at a solution for problem, so we won't have trouble at next years event.

When we arrived, some of the advance party was already coming back south, I believe due to many snags around the north side and the Kini river?   I've never been to that side before, but it turned out ok, except for a bit of location confusion.  A posting on cgoamn may have helped some folks?  Might not have this issue again?   I have a thought involving a low power FM signal that could provide announcements, but some folks may not have radios?

I wonder if there would be a way to create a text blast to cell phones. I know nothing about that technology but you would think something like that would be possible for us.

Honestly, having a Twitter account for everyone to monitor would be easiest way to get the word out.  Everyone attending subscribes & turns alerts on, every post is delivered real-time.
