I have 3 48ft slips reserved for our group. Pm me and I can get a list of who ever needs a slip so we can fill them up. I will let the slips go 1 week before event if we do not fill them.

just 3 short weeks from today... 8) 8)
last friday we scouted out the Kinni, north side (where we had been for several years) has lots of sand and trees on the beach. very shallow, out by the point (north west) the boats will be a ways out from shore.
Lauris will post a few pix of this area.
we also checked out the spot we were at last year (back side south east).
we went into the nowake from the south between the Wisconsin shore and the first no wake buoy, and straight into the cove.
lots of weeds but checked a few places and its about 4 to 5 feet deep. bad part is as there is no flow back there it appears to be a big algae bloom on the south part of the cove.

We were on the north side of kinni on Sunday the 25th just above the kinni river outlet.. yes very shallow but the water is clean and nice to be in.. I’m sure the north side is the place to be.. we just need to get there early on Saturday of the gathering… sticks and trees are there but they are up high in the sand and should be ok if you just keep your eyes open..

Thanks for that update, and I agree that Cove is going to be kind of nasty this year. And the nice thing about the shallow water is we can stack them in there three or four deep

I guess it's a good thing we didn't make plans to attend the meet this year. Hindryk our oldest will be having Knee surgery tomorrow 8/16.

He managed to tear his meniscus and ACL. also he fractured the bone the ACL attaches too.

Hopefully we have decent weather this fall so I can rebuild Phoenix again using the proper marine grade plywood.

Just a heads up, I just got to the campground and the campsites along the riverbank are numbered 21 and up and they are not reserved for us so if you want one of those you should call the marina or the RV park
