River outings July 13,14
« on: July 15, 2024, 09:21:04 AM »
We were out both days this weekend, Saturday rained most of the time we were out sun came out when we got back to Hastings.
Sunday was beautiful, sunny and hot.
We went to the Cove both days because the St. Croix was still under no wake until Sunday evening. Wanted to stop at the naughty hog Saturday, but the water was too high to beach there and I didn?t want to chance parking at the swimming beach, they tend to doal out tickets.
We left the dogs home on Sunday with plans to stop at Muddy Waters, but the ramp from the public dock to the top of the bluff was closed off, so we didn?t get to do that either.

The debris wasn?t terrible, but there was some big stuff

This is the mailbox at the Cove

And there is not much sand at Tanglewood right now
