Title: Teenage Fun
Post by: Jason on July 08, 2010, 10:09:19 PM
Scanned a bunch of old pictures. Thought these were interesting.

First car: 1991 Ford Crown Vic Police Car 351W

Second car: 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII
(love that it's chevy in the background of my tiresmoke. Sorry chevy fans)

Third car/winter beater: 1987 Ford Country Squire
(yep, once again, the Ford wins!)

I kinda like the Maverick in your 1st pic. That's what I had for a 1st car.

1972-4?  Remember the Maverick "Grabber" with the hood scoops?!  Wasn't all that popular back in the day, but boy wouldn't I love to have one now!

The Maverick is a 74. That's my brother's. He still has it. Originally was a 6cyl with a 3 on the tree. Now has a 302 with the stick moved to the floor and grabber graphics.

I had a friend with a 70's Mav.  We used to go off roading with that thing.  Probably the most solid car I've ever been in.  It was like a tank!  Ah, Memories.

Somewhere I have a video of us trying to kill another maverick we had with an inline 6. Drained the oil and water, dumped a bunch of sand in the valve cover, started it up with a brick on the gas pedal. Thing only died once it ran out of battery power as the alternator was no good. I'll have to get that video loaded somehow.
