Hey, new member here...I have a 1985 CV23.  Grew up in northern MN and always loved the boat, so when one came up two years ago I bought it.  Ran great and did not look too bad for a 1985.  Then the gimble bearing went out, found out the transom, stringers, and motor mounts were rotten.  Big dilema, always loved the style of boat but the bill to fix that was more than I paid for the boat (wife NOT happy).  Well this year it has a new transom, stringers, motor mounts, coil, dis cap, fuel water separator, battery, driver & passenger seat, hatch cover..let's see am I missing anything else...probably.  Wife wants the boat gone but I just love the style.  Anyway HELLO!

I did and I would love to go but having an issue with it cutting out at high rpms and when I trim up or down.  Just had it in and they said they fixed it water tested it and it ran great.  I got 100 yards from the dock and it has the same problem.  I think there is a wire/short somewhere...bringing it back to them on Sat at 9:00 am!
